Maldhari are the nomadic tribal people from the state of Gujarat in India. Their jewelry and clothing imbue a sense of identity and tradition, and symbolize their beliefs and ideals. Maldhari women are renowned embroiderers, and spent early years of their life stitching elaborate garments for their wedding day.
