Maldhari are the nomadic tribal people from the state of Gujarat in India. Their jewelry and clothing imbue a sense of identity and tradition, and symbolize their beliefs and ideals. Maldhari women are renowned embroiderers, and spent early years of their life stitching elaborate garments for their wedding day. See more about their lives here.
